New Beginnings! |
I can't even begin to explain how fast the last couple of months has gone by. I feel like everything from Christmas is a blur! Part of that is due to all the medication that has gone through the house for the flu and now allergies, so I do have a good excuse, but I hate that it has been so long since I last posted anything here. At one point, my oldest (Jay) asked when I was going to bake anything again. You know I feel bad id nothing is in the oven. So, shortly after that question I decided to bake these little goodies for the boys. The idea for the quick cinnamon rolls came from the illustrator going to IKEA to stock up on things for the new studio. He bought those big fat cinnamon rolls that they lure you in with when you walk in to that heavenly place. The boys fought over the last one and then wanted more. I still was not in the mood to stand in the kitchen for an extended period of time so I thought I would find a quicker option. I got this recipe from vegweb and everybody loved them. They are essentially a biscuit recipe made cinnamon roll style with a sweet glaze on top. What is not to love?
