Need More Energy!

Ugh, I was so exhausted yesterday! Our family went on a little trip this weekend to visit friends for a birthday party. We always have a blast when we go there, but it always means way too little sleep! I don't know what it is when I am so exhausted, but I am always more hungry when I lack sleep. I think my body uses the food as fuel. I was a zombie yesterday and pretty much ate all of my favorite standbys. I craved a lot of fresh foods so I ate fruits and veggies nonstop! Looking back, I can't believe how much I ate! I started off with oatmeal, then snacked on carrots in the car on the way home, then two apples and half a cantaloupe when we got home, then a little more oatmeal, then a huge (had 4 eggs worth of egg beaters in it) breakfast burrito with fresh salsa and peppers, then a little more oatmeal and some popcorn. Good grief! We went to sleep at 9:30pm and I got up at 6:30am (which is late for me since I work out at 5:55am). I feel complete refreshed today and I am really looking forward to a great week! I have to bake today. I have been out of the kitchen for the past 3 days and I miss it! So, hopefully I will have something good to share by tomorrow!
I am thinking I need to do something with all the citrus fruit I have from the Christmas delivery from my parents...

    I haven't had breakfast yet, and it's lunch time....No wonder I'm just soooo sleepy....Food is fuel!
