Treats!
Remember the applesauce cobbler I made for the BSI competition? Well, I won that one and the lovely Nicole at Making Good Choices sent me a goodie bag with a ton of yummy bars for my win!
Max and I have already been fighting over the flavors. Thanks Nicole, we will definitely enjoy these!
Tonight was pizza night! I made our usual pizzas and we all enjoyed them. I also made a treat for the boys tonight and I swear I feel like this sad little muddy buddy that is trying to escape...
This one is trying to do the same...
These mugs say it all...this is who I picked up from school today. Have you hung out with a 9 year old and a 12 year old in a while? Let's just say hormones are going crazy!
Uh oh...the illustrator just heard I made muddy buddies (and they are gluten free)! I hope he portion controls the situation!
I hope everyone has a great weekend! I am hoping for a nice walk to the park with all of my guys...what are you all up to?
Your welcome! Enjoy all of them!
ReplyDeleteand can i please come over for some of those pancakes??! and waffles too while I'm there.
Those bars look great! You know I'm a sucker for a good bar ;)
ReplyDeletehehe, I got a chuckle out of the escaping muddy buddy. he knows his life is short :P
i hope you get some good family time in this weekend. i am hoping to squeeze in some good horsey time!
Woohoo for pizza night! Hope you're having a great evening friend.
ReplyDeleteMuddy buddies! I still don't know why we called them puppy chow...
ReplyDeleteOh pizza night- it sounds like such a good time! I think I may have to recruit some peeps for one myself- the healthy everythingatarian once posted a pizza dough recipe using beer- do you think that will bribe people to come? lol
Have a great weekend!!!
Muddy Buddies! I swear you're the best mom ever!! Enjoy your Friday night!! :)
ReplyDeletethose bars look great and i totally think your comment about celiac and getting tested was right on point since it's an autoimmune I just didnt write all that since for the "average person" it may not be as applicable but in your case, family history, etc, you're totally right :)
ReplyDeletehave a super weekend with your awesome family, sarena!
That's a great stash of bars! Congrats on the win.
ReplyDeleteYour walk in the park sounds fun. We're going out to eat with my bf's parents. I can't wait!
p.s. We had pizza night too
We've definitely got a busy weekend planned! Throwing a dinner party tonight and hopefully the rain stays away for just tonight!
ReplyDeleteI've always heard of those muddy buddies being referred to as puppy chow. Muddy Buddy makes a lot more sense. And also, yum, those are very hard to portion control.
ReplyDeleteMuddy buddies are to die for. I only make them at Christmas time and with lots of chocolate. I just can't stop eating them. So I save it for Christmas.
