Chili and Muffins

This weekend was crazy busy with running around. We had such a great time hanging out with our friends. When we finally got home last night, we made a fire and sat down to watch ELF and then immediately passed out.

Now, I am off to make some chili (I wish I had some in the freezer), do a quick cleaning of the house and then trash the house with Christmas decorations. I am so ready to decorate!

I am also pulling some mini cornbread muffins out of the freezer to go with it. I love the ease of freezer foods!

Have you decorated for the holidays yet? What is your favorite freezer friendly meal?

  6. We had chili last night, but no cornbread. It's been a long time since I've made any. May need to check out your recipe. Love having homemade bread stashed in the freezer. Comes in handy!

  9. I certainly have nights like that where we sit down for a movie and then immediately pass out. It's kind of nice.

  10. I'm glad you had a great weekend!! Elf & a fire sounds so cozy :)

I have lots of veggie burgers and chili in the freezer that I keep forgetting about. I see them coming in hand this month, though - I'll be working more and have less time to cook! See, I knew I saved it all for a reason :P I also freeze pretty much all the muffins I make as soon as they're cooled. So handy!

  11. Chili is probably my favorite freezer meal, too. Veggie stew is a close second.

I decorated last week and love it. I have a little Christmas tree in the window and decorations on the shelves. It puts me in an immediately happy mood. :) Have fun!

I made your gingerbread cookies last night. Yummy. Even though mine didn't really turn into balls like yours did.
