I don't know what it was yesterday, but I could not stop moving. I think my B12s are definitely kicking in now!
I've been loving on some eggs lately with lots of spinach and some nutritional yeast waffles! Hello energy boost!
Nutritional Yeast Waffle
(makes two regular size waffles)
1/2 cup oats (I use quick)
2 TBSP chickpea flour (makes the best tasting waffles!)
1 TBSP nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
fresh ground black pepper
1/2 cup water
Mix it all together and cook according to your waffle iron's instructions. I like to toast it in the toaster oven to make it nice and crispy.
I scrubbed the house from top to bottom. Not that is was a mess, but I wanted the illustrator to come home to a clean home. I also baked a loaf of gluten free bread and made him a killer ham sandwich for when I picked him up.
I realized recently that I don't have many pictures of me with the boys, so I'm going to start working on that...even if I have to put the timer on to get them. I also wanted to take a picture of us yesterday as a memory of the weekend we got to have together. As they get older, they are going to want to spend less and less time with me, so I'm soaking up this time as much as possible. So, I will share...
I was trying to set the timer and took this shot...I have no idea what they are doing?
Jay is on his way to 13 and Max is 10...they are both going to pass me in height soon!
They read the funnies from the Sunday paper and it cracks me up. I remember looking forward to reading them when I was a kid.
Max too a picture of the back of my hair so I could see how much I got cut off. If feels great now! I plan to chop it off this summer and I am convinced I am doing the pixie cut. I actually can't wait! It's actally naturally wavy so this is more natural than the one from the other day.
I gave Max a haircut too!
I feel awkward posting pictures of myself, but I kind of feel like seeing people is a way to get to know them better. That's a major reason why I made the illustrator go to the convention last weekend. Do you feel awkward posting pics of yourself? I have to be honest, I like seeing people's smiling faces and being that we work from home...it's nice to "see" my friends even if it is through the computer.
Lindsay posted about smiling yesterday and really, I think it was such a great post! I find myself letting the bad stuff get to me, but I'm feeling great and really focusing on being happy with where I am right now! I have my baby back home now so today is all about being happy! The pics are great! The kids are so cute, and you are too! I have to admit, thought, if I had hair that luscious, the last thing I'd want to do is chop it off. Although, long hair is kind of a pain! :)
