Quick Sesame Green Beans!

I have discovered some easy tricks to getting flavors I crave without all the fuss! Here's one of my current favorites! When I started making fried rice, I realized that a key flavor to Asian dishes like that is the sesame oil (I can't have soy sauce, so it's an important flavor). Well, I had a boat load of fresh green beans from the farmer's market that needed to be used up and I was craving something Asian flavored. So, I decided to sautee some steamed green beans with a little sesame oil. My quick protein was egg whites and the whole dish was topped with rooster! Hello quick easy delicious flavors!

This totally hit the spot! The flavors were bold, fresh and delicious!

Do you have any tricks for quick easy meals with complicated flavors? I need ideas!

  14. I hope things calm down for you soon. I can relate (I think)-- moving to a new place is just STRESSFUL. Everything is new, everything seems to take longer...I'm someone who relishes the familiar, so moves are always a kind of sad, scary time for me. Anyway-- I hope that you feel better soon!!
