Do you like egg nog? Jay goes crazy for the stuff...I swear he waits all year just to have it. I like enough to make me feel in the season and then that's about it. This really was a treat though!

Coconut Milk Nog and Cinnamon Bread Dippers!
I'm not gonna tell you that you have to get this...
but you HAVE to get this! The So Delicious Coconut Nog is amazing! Thank you So Delicious for making this amazingly rich, creamy, sweet and delicious treat for me to enjoy the holidays just a little bit more. The slight coconut flavor is there, but I think it adds something a little more special to the party.
Now, I'm not gonna tell you that you have to make this to go with the So Delicious Coconut Nog...
but you HAVE to make the cinnamon bread (regular or gluten free - this one is gluten free) to dunk it!
This was such a treat! Cinnamony, gooey, chewy and amazing dipped in the Nog!
My dad drinks the non-alcoholic egg nog like CRAZY. It's disturbing bc I know how bad it is... but sigh... he'd never listen anyway, so I let him enjoy it over the holidays. :p
ReplyDeleteI like it, too. But usually only have it maybe once or twice (WITH alcohol- obviously!) and sip on it. Not one of those things I can drink a lot of.
I was just at the groc store today and saw the Nog coming out. Tis the season. Thanks for the review on the So Delish brand.
ReplyDeleteWhat's so funny is that I hated egg nog, the real stuff, but found like I liked Soy Nog. And there is one brand (silk perhaps) that had a pumpkin pie flavor last year. YUM. So good in coffee.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE eggnog! It's one of my favorite holiday beverages! I need to buy some to make your delicious bread :)
ReplyDeleteI used to love egg nog -- the real stuff though! (and my parents usually bought the Holly Nog just for me!) We tried the Silk Nog last year and it was pretty good! I'm with you though, I really only like it around the holidays.
ReplyDeleteHaha...I go crazy for nog, too. It's one of those holiday treats that I can VERY easily overdo, if you know what I mean :-)
ReplyDeleteI love egg nog! I just found So Delicious coconut nog at the store, and OMG, it is SO delicious! It's even better than soy nog! It might be the slight hint of coconut or maybe they just got the spices down right. Whatever it is, it doesn't have that bang you over the head too sweet taste of some egg nogs. The cinnamon bread looks amazing. I do HAVE to make it!
ReplyDeleteno one in our family likes egg nog besides our dad, haha
ReplyDeleteCount me in the nog lovers camp! I actually made some from scratch last year. It was much easier than I was anticipating and it was so light and frothy. Of course opening up a bottle is easier. I'll take either version.
ReplyDeleteI used to love egg nog back in the day, and dipping this bread in it sounds great.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried egg nog or any variation thereof. At first, it was the name that grossed me out. Now I'm just scared I'll like it too much and get hooked!
ReplyDeleteOh... this looks so delicious! I can't wait to try it out.
ReplyDeleteOooooh..I'd love to try that! I saw it in the store...but I'm worried if I try it I'll just keep drinking it...
ReplyDeleteThe combo of it with cinnamon bread sounds amazing!
SQUEEEEEEEEEE!!!! You got me in the mood to nom on some bread, sister. Right on. So excited that there's coconut nog; every holiday season I look at the soy stuff and pout. This kinda made my day! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI've started liking egg nog more in recent years. That kind sounds really good. And cinnamon bread with it? Oh, yes!
ReplyDeleteI love egg nog! well, this may sound weird, but I like it now that it is offered in non dairy. weird? I can't explain.
ReplyDeleteand this bread - looks like the perfect dipper! Mmm!
Oh, yay! That is awesome! I'm totally getting that this Christmas and making the cinnamon bread.
ReplyDeleteI've been dying to get my hands on the coconut milk nog! I've missed the real stuff like crazy, and the silk stuff didn't really do it for me.
ReplyDeleteI like egg not but usually can only drink a few sips of it or else it makes me thick. A little goes a long way with me.
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to say thank you Sarena for the sweet sweet comment you left me about everything that is going on. Unffortunately too many people know my pain and while that breaks my heart it also makes me a lot less alone in this world.
OMG, I hadn't seen this! Thanks for mentioning it Sarena!
ReplyDeleteI have really got to try that coconut egg nog -- that sounds SO good!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI am getting a sugar rush just reading this!!!! I adore the vegan nog but try not to drink too much of it as it's easy to put down the whole carton!
ReplyDeleteThat cinnamon bread looks so good! :)
ReplyDeleteI was so excited about the nog until I read the ingredients... the dreaded carrageenan. Oh how I miss nog :( On the other hand that bread looks amazing!!
ReplyDeletethe cinnamon bread looks so good. cinnamon anything is a plus for me! :)
ReplyDeleteIn what state and store did you find the nog?
