Oh and to all of you that posted Happy Anniversary to us yesterday, thank you! I was kind of blown away with the kind words and messages!
The realization of the passing of time has been pretty strong for me lately.
(Life was a little bit different in the adventure department. This was taken after a caving trip. I'm in the red shirt and Tony in the green shirt behind me...19 years old!)
(Paris 2004)
I think we've done some pretty amazing things including creating a pretty amazing family!
(Summer 2001)
(Jay 2010)
(Max 2010)
(my guys December 2011)
(Tony and I December 2011)
Life is not always perfect or how you think it will be, but looking back, even through the hard times, I realize that it doesn't really get any better than this. I am incredibly thankful and I feel like the luckiest girl alive to have these amazing people in my life. Life is constantly changing and now instead of being a little scared of that change, I look forward to the next adventure!
Best quote on finding the one by Mac McGuff from Juno...
Look, in my opinion, the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what have you, the right person is still going to think the sun shines out your ass. That's the kind of person that's worth sticking with.
Yep, that's what I got.
what a sweet post! Happy Anniversary! Wishing you many many more!
ReplyDeleteSo, so, so sweet!! Your family is so sweet and you and Tony have done such an awesome job!! Happy Anniversary!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the quote from Juno. That's one of my personal favorites. We didn't know each other at all in high school, really, but from what I did know of you, you were always sweet. I'm so happy that you and Tony have made it so far and are still going strong. Here's to 30 or 40 more.

ReplyDeleteYou just two just go to show, you might get married young, but if you're right for each other it can last a lifetime.
Plus, you have a gorgeous family to share that love with too! :)
Can I just say, you do not look nearly old enough to be married 17 years! Congrats :)
