No, I have not fallen off the end of the earth...although I kind of feel like it. I can't believe how long it's been since my last post! I miss blogging so badly right now. Thank you for all of the comments and emails checking on me! It's nice to feel the love!
I can't really complain though, I'm good busy! My personal training business is doing well right now and Tony is busy, so really, I couldn't ask for me. Oh and we all are in good health (knock on wood), so there's that. ;)
I'm a little overwhelmed though, but that's to be expected when you start to take on more without a true shift in other things. So, it's officially time for me to start working on a new site. Blogger is giving me headaches with meeting my capacity on photos (I had to delete old photos to add these) and I really hate to waste my time trying to figure out how to get this blog where I want it. So, I'm working on getting a new blog together that will focus more on my personal training, fitness nutrition and healthy recipes. I will still be doing dairy free and gluten free eats (my heart is in my food), but that will not be my only focus. I'm a HUGE stickler when it comes to properly fueling your body for whatever your health goals are, so I want to really focus on that more.
Speaking of eats, seriously, I haven't pulled the camera out in what feels like forever. Instagram has been about it for me with the photos. I do like that it keeps my photos light and fun...oh and the boys' food doesn't get cold before we eat! Lately, food has been fast and portable so not many photos have been taken. Here are some of my favorites though...
Turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce and wild rice soup (Tony's meal)
My favorite new addition to my favorite snack of celery and peanut butter sauce is cranberry sauce! YUM! Tart, sweet, crispy and delicious!
This is a new addiction thanks to my mother-in-law. Seriously, this stuff is like frosting! I love the addition of coconut with the peanut butter. So decadent!
On top of everything else, December has kind of been a downer month for me for years. I need to break out of the funk and enjoy life more! My goal for the next two weeks is to focus on the hear and now and the positive!
So tell me, is life crazy for anyone else out there? How do you cope with the stress?Labels: about me, breads, dips, gluten free, main courses, product reviews, quick breads, vegetables |
so happy for you! and i completely understand, as you know. I think you will love wordpress, if thats the way you go. Blogger gives me headaches too!
