The night was filled with good friends a talking old times along with catching up with how things are going now.
Also, what better way to fill the time waiting for your best friend from high school (she still is my best girlfriend!) than taking family photos in the car. This was the best we got...not too bad.
Saturday night we had friends over for pumpkin carving and good eats! I love this time of year and sharing good times with friends definitely makes it that much more festive!
Tony's pumpkin this year...
We cooked up a big pot of Tony's vegetable soup...
and a pot roast...
I also baked up some of my gluten free bread to go along with the meal...
and caramel popcorn for treats afterwards...
Sunday morning started with apple spice donuts!
Fall is definitely here and we are definitely celebrating it. Tony and I set out for a 10 mile run after enjoying our coffee and donuts. The weather was amazing and the run went really well. I'm going to share the donut recipe this week along with some running stuff that I just want to chat about. I will leave you with this for now though...Happy Monday!
So glad you had a good time and a great weekend AND a great run!!

That pumpkin is IMPRESSIVE! I was thinking of trying something artistic myself this year. Anyway, I stumbled upon this blog looking for recipes so I can better cook for my lactose-intolerant boyfriend. I'll be back!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that picture! Do you notice how Tony has a "younger" reflection right behind him. It's trippy! Glad you had such fun :)
ReplyDeleteHi! Just discovered your blog via...gluten & dairy free bakehouse or something. OMgosh, I love the looks of all your stuff. It looks actually good. Do you have the GF bread recipe? I neeed that. My son can't have gluten or dairy and I'm having a hard time w/ baking and feeding him in general. Also, how can I get your blog updates in my email? I can't find a link.
ReplyDeleteAll your recipes look amazing. But that family photo...you are all GORGEOUS!! Look at that beautiful family. That picture really warmed my heart. Love it.
